Dear Friends,
It is by the Grace of God that we understand we are sinners and come to have a relationship with our Lord and Savior.  It is also by the Grace of God that we are re-created into His image to do good works and stand firm in this sinful world.  Through God's Grace, He makes these changes in our life, and we grow in our faith.  There are many ways in which we see, experience, and receive God's grace.  But, there are certain activities that are set aside at special times in which God's grace comes to us.  If we will participate in them, these are known as the Means of Grace.  The include reading the Bible, praying, worshiping God, gathering with God's people, engaging in Holy conversations and small groups, serving others and challenging yourself to be constantly aware of the presence of God.  The more we participate in these Means of Grace activities, the more we will be transformed by His grace into the image of His son.  Please don't misunderstand. It is not by doing these activities that we earn favor from God, but it is the participating in these activates that we discover a deeper understanding of the Grace that continues to transform our lives.

 Luke 15:1-7: Now the tax collectors and sinners were all gathering around to hear Jesus. But the Pharisees and the teachers of the law muttered, “This man welcomes sinners and eats with them.” Then Jesus told them this parable:  “Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, ‘Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.’ I tell you that in the same way, there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.

   On Tuesday nights the Means of Grace Ministry meets at our new location off from East St in Mendenhall what was Clearview Missionary Baptist Church.  Community is welcome to join in fellowship, worship, and celebrate lives being changed and chains being broken throughout the hands and feet of this ministry. Each week we continue to see lives changing for Jesus Christ.    
   Please consider joining us on Tuesday nights at 6:00 p.m. as we fellowship together through a meal graciously prepared for Means of Grace by generous donations. After the meal, we join in a community praise and worship service led by the Means of Grace praise band. Then, we have a host of pastors willing to encourage and share a message with us from God's word and bathe us in anointed prayer.
